Segment 1: What’s Up?

Jodie launches the first episode of the second season from the Northcott Fabrics booth at InternationalQuilt Market in Minneapolis. Both the Photoshop diet and the in-the-flesh versions of Mark join her to open the show. Mark shows off his latest creation, his Chester Gardens fabric line. Mark turns a seriously amazing iron into steamy silliness as he and Art Garabedian introduce you to the latest introduction in Reliable Corporation’s lineup, the V50.
Segment 2: Author Rose Hughes And Her Woolies

That Patchwork Place author Rose Hughes shows Jodie how to use batting and wool to make her versatile and very cute “Woolies” which she uses to embellish her quilts and even turns them into jewelry. See how easy these little felted gems are to make!

Segment 3: Door Knock

First thing in the morning Mark took off in Jodie’s truck to nock on Jodie’s Bee Buddy Jennifer Yacola’s door. Another northerner turned Southerner, Jennifer wows her Bee friends with every new quilt she makes. And she wowed Mark. She numbers each quilt show makes and calls them “practice quilts” which is why Jodie wanted mark to meet her. Each one is hand quilted, from her original Mariner’s Compass design to her needle turn appliqué album quilt.
Segment 4: North Meets South: Sampling Drinks

Jodie spirits Mark away from quilting to her favorite restaurant, Milton’s in the newly incorporated Milton, Georgia. There Katherine DeSantis, bar tender extraordinaire, mixes up signature drinks from the south and then from the north for the duo to sample. Find out which ones they liked and which received a thumbs down.

Segment 1: What’s Up?

Inspiration is everywhere, but what better place to find it than through the eyes of a child. The Center for Puppetry Arts is the place for puppetry. None other than Jim Henson cut the ribbon at the dedication ceremony! Jodie and her guest host Rob Appell introduce the show from the atrium, both having brought their own side kicks. Jodie’s is, of course her rubber duckie. She is hoping to find Ernie the puppet at the Center. Rob is accompanied by the puppet he has had since his childhood.
Segment 2: Lights Action, Puppets!

Jodie heads off on a tour of the exhibits at the Center with curator Jeremy Underwood. From historical puppets to new age “This is a puppet?” puppets, Jodie learns the definition of what a puppet is, and has her eyes opened to the incredible imagination of puppet makers and puppeteers. At their last stop, Jeremy and Jodie find out where AWOL Rob has been during the tour—and it is off limits to the general public!
